第十八屆中國塑料博覽會6日在享有“塑料王國”美譽的浙江余姚市舉行。
本屆塑料博覽會以“塑料智造——新理念•新機遇•新發展”為主題，設塑料原料、塑料機床模具、塑料機械、塑料模具半成品等4大展區，展位2000個，吸引了15個國家和地區的近400家企業參展。
據第十八屆中國塑料博覽會組委會介紹，本屆塑料博覽會除了傳統的產品展示展銷和經貿洽談活動外，還將舉辦第十二屆中國塑料產業發展國際論壇和第十八屆中國塑料博覽會材料峰會暨寧波市第九屆學術大會新材料分會。
中國塑料博覽會自1999年成功舉辦首屆以來,累計參展企業8365家(次)，參展參會中外客商232萬余人(次)，成交總額527.71億元，簽訂中外合資合作項目482個，總投資96億美元。余姚從一個自身不生產1克塑料原料的城市發展成為中國最大的塑料原料集散地，2015年中國塑料城交易量達797.4萬噸，交易額達864.97億元。
據悉，今年10月，中國(余姚)國際塑料博覽會和中國塑料博覽會獲得全球展覽業協會(UFI)認可。
